Now, this is my first amazon review, but thought you might all enjoy to learn what a great value this computer is.
So now I have had this computer since May 17th 2010 and here are my thoughts.
With windows xp preinstalled, it is great, but I wanted to use windows 7, so to do that you have to shut the computer off and boot from one of the disks that comes in the box along with the laptop, very easy. Now the install of windows 7 took about an hour and 11 minutes. After that though, the second disk that comes with the box, you HAVE TO HAVE, otherwise none of the drivers will install and you will have trouble using the computer. So just pop in that second disk, and it has all the driver software, and useful hp protecttools manager on it. I highly recommend installing all of the software off of the discs except for hp skyroom. But what the hp protecttools is good for is using the integrated smart card reader or finger printer scanner to log onto windows. This is great. I will say however, the metal around the finger print reader does show usage, but it just wipes off. Read more...

First, I want to forewarn you, this is a confusing review. Do I like the HP2133 or not? Let’s talk about the price that I purchased it for: 9.99 (+.69 S&H; I live in Alaska. Your S&H may be less) from TigerDirect. Why does the title say, “WAS amazing?” The day after I purchased this, TigerDirect took that sale price off their website and the Amazon market. I don’t think you can get a NEW one from TigerDirect at ANY price. There is a refurb. for 9… If you trust refurbs it is still a GREAT deal.
